Last updated on OCTOBER 29, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Asset Tracking - Version 12.1.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.1.1 version, Support Codes

An Asset created in EAM and linked to an Asset in FA, is retired in Oracle Asset tracking with Operational and Financial boxes checked. The asset is retired in EAM but not in Fixed Assets.

Expected Behavior
The asset should retire both in FA and EAM when the "Operational" and "Financial" boxes are checked.

Steps to Reproduce
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Asset Created in EAM, and Linked to FA Asset in Other tab
Navigation: Enterprise Asset Management > Assets > Asset Numbers > Asset Numbers

2. Asset retired from Oracle Asset tracking. Both Operational and Financial boxes are checked.
    Click Apply
Navigation: Asset tracking Super User > Assets > Deployment

3. When we query the asset in EAM, the status has successfully changed to inactive, the link with FA Asset is also removed correctly

4. But in Fixed Asset application, asset still exists and not retired
Navigation: Fixed Assets Manager > Assets > Asset Workbench
   Click Retirements button and query.
