Supply Chain Bills of Material Indented Cost Report No Data Found Loop in the BOM structure (Doc ID 1084984.1)

Symptoms


Supply Chain Cost Rollup - Print Report does not rollup costs for a  particular model .   No error messages are received in the concurrent request logfile, but the Supply Chain Bills of Material Indented Cost Report results in No Data Found.

The FND_LOG_FILE shows that there is a loop found for 6 items as follows:
1 : 450[Org:AM1] ==> 450 BASE[Org:AM1]
2 : 450 BASE[Org:AM1] ==> 590465-001[Org:XXX]
3 : 590465-001[Org:AM1] ==> 539690-002[Org:XXX]
4 : 539690-002[Org:AM1] ==> 539690-402[Org:XXX]
5 : 539690-402[Org:AM1] ==> 539683-005[Org:XXX]
6 : 539683-005[Org:AM1] ==> 590465-001[Org:XXX]
Warning: Please check for Loop in the BOM structure above.
Customer applied  patch p7654674_R12.BOM.C_R12_GENERIC.zip but costs are still not rolling up.  Concurrent request logfile now completes with warning and
FND_LOG has slightly different error:

After running concurrent program review New item costs :
Item Costs ==> Item Costs
Select Model : 450
Click on Costs
Find Rollup Item Costs for Resource : XXX
Take 7.78858 / .238546 = 32.65
This should be the rate from resource above of 27.40.
