Goal

How do you set up an information element for costing?

Per <Note 216767.1> - Costing Setup and Usage FAQ

"Why are information elements not costing even though they are set up to generate costing transactions?
An element must have run results in order to be costed, and information elements will not have run results because they are not processed in the payroll. They are for information only."
