Setup: Error At The Time Of Freezing Application Rule Set (Doc ID 1094929.1)

Symptoms

Getting several error and warning messages when trying to freeze a new
Application Rule Set. Sometimes it will finally freeze and other times it
will not.


Responsibility: Receivables
Navigation: Setup > Receipts > Application Rule Sets
1. Setup->Receipts->Application Rule Sets
2. Created new application rule set: RuleNew
3. Enter sequence = 1, Charges
   Type = Charges, Tax Treatment = None
   Check Rounding Correction on (X)
   Save
4. Enter sequence = 2, Line
   Type = Line, Tax Treatment = After
   Check Rounding Correction on (X)
   Save
5. Check Freeze (X). Error is shown.

FRM-40735: WHEN_CHECKBOX_CHANGED trigger raised unhandled exception
ORA-06502

Close this window and try to freeze again and get warning:

Pending data changes will be saved. Save changes and continue? Choose Yes.

Pop-up window contains error:

This rule set has invalid data. The following checks are performed:

1. There must exist at least one sequenced rule (other than the overapplication rule.)

2. Every Line Type ( Line, Freight, Charges ) must appear only once in an application rule set.

3. Every rule must have only one of its rule details with rounding correction flag checked.

4. The entered sequence number for the application rule must be unique.

Choose No.

Now requery the rule and sometimes is will show as frozen, sometimes it does not.
