Goal

This document contains information on the maintenance of Summary Templates when new segment values are added.

In versions previous to 11i, some situations could require to Redefine summary templates can be confusing at times. Below are some guidelines to help you maintain your summary accounts.
Since 11i there is no need for redefining summary templates in normal situations (it may be required in case of data corruption).
