OutSide Processing (OSP): Move Into Operation With OSP Resource Not Automatically Launching Requisition Import Concurrent Request (Doc ID 1100223.1)

User moves lot into queue of OSP operation.  Requisition Import runs but results show that 0 OSP requisitions are created. Requisition import error report returns no data.  What happened?


This result can occur when the implementation includes multiple inventory organizations each processing OSFM work orders under different operating units. 


If the OSFM user responsibility MO: Operating Unit profile is not set to the same operating unit that the inventory organization is linked to the above symptoms will occur. Requisition import is triggered but 0 OSP item requisitions are successfully generated.  


If the MO: Operating Unit system profile is NOT set at the user responsibility the effective MO: operating unit selection defaults to the site level setting which may or may not be the same operating unit as the one which the inventory organization is linked to.
