City, County or State Tax Is Not Showing on Statement of Earnings (SOE) But is Included in Total Taxes (Doc ID 1101013.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 13, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle HRMS (US) - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Form:PAYUSSOE.FMB - Statement of Earnings (US)

Symptoms

For US Payroll:

After running payroll or QuickPay, the Statement of Earnings (SOE) is missing one or more tax deductions that were withheld.  The withheld amounts are included Summary section for taxes and the Net Pay is correct, but the deduction details section of the SOE is missing the tax amount.

The Employee Run Results Report also shows that the Tax was deducted.

This can happen for City, County, or State (SIT) taxes.

The issue can be reproduced with these steps:

From US HRMS Manager (or equivalent):

  1. After a payroll or QuickPay run, navigate to the SOE: FastPath > Statement of Earnings
  2. Query for the employee's SOE and see that tax deduction details are not correct.
