Symptoms

If for a visit, the order of its tasks by hierarchy was different from the order of its tasks by task number, an error is thrown from Projects saying that the task hierarchy is not correct.


ERROR
Parent tasks must be specified before the child tasks.
You entered an invalid API parameter. Please enter a valid parameter and try again. Parameter Name: &ATTR_NAME Parameter Value: &ATTR_VALUE
"Project: '&PROJECT';Task:'&TASK'
You cannot create a subtask below this task since task information was not specified."

Message short codes for all the error messages are:

PA_PARENT_TASK_MISSING
Parent tasks must be specified before the child tasks.

PA_API_CONV_ERROR_AMG
You entered an invalid API parameter. Please enter a valid parameter and try again. Parameter Name: &ATTR_NAME Parameter Value: &ATTR_VALUE

PA_NO_TASK_ID_ST_AMG
"Project: '&PROJECT';Task:'&TASK'
You cannot create a subtask below this task since task information was not specified."
