Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When attempting to create a Non-Routine(NR), find that the Status drop-down list is not filtered based on the Statuses defined for the Status Group attached to the SR Type. All the statuses are displayed instead. If selecting a status not part of the Status Group, upon saving the non-routine, the following error occurs:

ERROR
-----------------------
API Warning (CS_ServiceRequest_PUB.Create_ServiceRequest): The API ignored the p_type_name parameter. API Programming Error (CS_ServiceRequest_UTIL.Validate_Status): The value "6" for parameter p_status_id is invalid

EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR
----------------------------
Expect only statuses that are defined in the status group to be visible in the drop-down list.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Execution > Production Planning > Work Order Overview
2. Performing a blank search and select a row from the results section
3. Choose 'Create Non-Routine Work Order' option from the drop-down list
4. The Service Request(SR) Type is defaulted. Make sure you have some statuses defined for the Status Group attached to the SR Type
5. Open the Status drop-down list and see that all the statuses from the system are displayed, and not only the ones under the Status Group.
