Service:FRM- 40742 While Creating a Task on the Service Request Form (Doc ID 1108319.1)

Symptoms


When attempting to create task manually in SR form,
the following error occurs.

ERROR

----------------
FRM-40742: Illegal status conversion on record 2 INSERT to CHANGED
after entering subject and Save following 2 error received and task is not created
ERROR No resources found. Please try again.

After clicking the OK button, I received the following error:

API Error (CS_SR_TASK_AUTOASSIGN_PKG Assign_Task_Resource)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Res: Service
Function: Create Service Request
Search for exsting open service request

On Task Tab create Tasks manually, it
failed. I clicked on the New icon, and selected any task type from the LOV, and the following error appeared on the lowever left
of the screen:

FRM-40742: Illegal status conversion on record 2 INSERT to CHANGED

I entered text in the Task Subject, and clicked the Save icon. I received
the following error:

ERROR No resources found. Please try again.

After clicking the OK button, received the following error:

API Error (CS_SR_TASK_AUTOASSIGN_PKG Assign_Task_Resource)
Unable to automatically assign task owner.
