iStore - Why is a Logged In User asked to Log In again after Checkout? (Doc ID 1109855.1)

While a user is already logged in, they create a shopping cart.
On Checkout this logged in user is sent to the login page and asked to sign in again.

Is this a default behavior, and if so what is the purpose?

Is there any work-around available to disable this multiple logging in?
