Customer Form, Search Issue: Unable To Use Match Rule with More Than 20 Attributes in DQM Customer Search Form (Doc ID 1111515.1)

Last updated on MAY 24, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Receivables - Version 11.5.10.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

You created a match rule with more than 20 attributes. When you invoke the Customer Form and run a search, the match rule you created with 21+ attributes is not in the list of values for match rule.

Step to reproduce:

  1. Responsibility: Trading Community Manager
Navigation: Trading Community > Administration > DQM
  2. Create a match rule with more than 20 attributes ( For example: Rule21, with 21 attributes), Compile it
  3. Ensure DQM is enabled (you should a Search Criteria window instead of Find/Enter Customers when Customer form opens)
See <Note 553671.1> for more information on how to enable DQM
    Responsibility: Receivables Manager
    Navigation: Customers > Customers
  4. Invoke the List of values (LOV) for Match Rule field.  Note that Rule21 is not in the list
  5. Responsibility: Trading Community Manager
Navigation: Trading Community > Administration > DQM
    Query up Rule21
  6. Delete one attribute from Rule21, now there are only 20 attributes in the match rule definition, compile it
  7. Responsibility: Receivables Manager
    Navigation: Customers > Customers
In the Match Rule LOV, now you can see Rule21 in the list
