Stale Data Error Encountered In Location Tab - Unable To Update Data (Doc ID 1115986.1)

Symptoms

While trying to update an item instance the Location Tab does not have any data. While trying to populate the data the following error occurs.

Error: Stale Data

 The requested page contains stale data. This error could have been caused through the use of the browser's navigation buttons (the browser Back button, for example).

 To proceed, please select the Home link at the top of the application page to return to the main menu. Then, access this page again using the application's navigation controls (menu, links, and so on) instead of using the browser's navigation controls like Back and Forward.

 

Steps to Reproduce:


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigation:  Oracle Installed Base Agent User >> Item Instance >> Item Instances >> Query Instances >> Select an Instance >> Click on the 'Update' icon (pencil)

2. Click on the Location tab - note that the current location is NULL

4. Click on a different tab

5. Note the warning - Form validation failures, a value must be entered for address.

6. Attempt to update the Current Location by entering a valid Party Number - the Stale Data Error Occurs
