Symptoms


On 11.5.10 in both production and test instances
Find "INCIAR has poor performance. averages 15-20 minutes even if it doesn't process any transactions. Looks like full table scan of rcv_accounting_events.  That table scan isn't the main problem. The Optimizer hints are what is slowing things down." This is happening even after <patch 5850712> PERFORMANCE -CREATE INTERCOMPANY AR INVOICES was applied.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run the standard Intercompany Invoicing process to create AR invoices
2. Observe the resultant poor performance.
