Goal
AuditTrail lets you keep a history of changes to your important data: what changed, who changed it, and when. The purpose of this note is to help determine if Table Auditing has been set up, and functioning, correctly. As an example for this note, we will assume that the table HZ_CODE_ASSIGNMENTS, and columns CODE_ASSIGNMENT_ID, CLASS_CATEGORY, CLASS_CODE, CREATED_BY, CREATION_DATE, LAST_UPDATED_BY, LAST_UPDATE_DATE need to be audited.
