When trying to upgrade the 10gAS (10.1.3) technology stack component on a non middle (web) tier...
The "oafm" process fails to start up up after performing the 10.1.3.5 patch upgrade. The [oafmstd.out] file shows something similar to the following:
Error
--> Process (index=1,uid=1876833138,pid=14344)
time out while waiting for a managed process to start
Log:
/oracle/inst/apps/host_sid/logs/ora/10.1.3/opmn/OC4J~oafm~default_group~1.log
Addtional debugging shows the following in the [oafmstd.out] file:
