When Opening The Contact Form, Error: APP-FND-01564: ORACLE error 1422 in FDFGVD (Doc ID 1141013.1)

Symptoms


When attempting to open the Contact form, the following error occurs. This issue only happens to one (1) employee.

APP-FND-01564: ORACLE error 1422 in FDFGVD

Cause: FDFGVD failed due to ORA-01422: exact fetch returns more than requested number of rows.

The SQL statement being executed at the time of the error was:

FROM PER_PEOPLE_F P, PER_ASSIGNMENTS_F A, HR_ORGANIZATION_UNITS O
WHERE ( P.PERSON_ID=A.PERSON_ID
AND A.ORGANIZATION_ID = O.ORGANIZATION_ID
AND P.CURRENT_EMPLOYEE_FLAG = 'Y'
AND A.PRIMARY_FLAG = 'Y'
AND TRUNC(SYSDATE) BETWEEN P.EFFECTIVE_START_DATE AND
   P.EFFECTIVE_END_DATE
AND TRUNC(SYSDATE) BETWEEN A.EFFECTIVE_START_DATE AND
    A.EFFECTIVE_END_DATE )
AND P.PERSON_ID = :X
and was executed from the file &ERRFILE.

 

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Login to the Applications.
2. Choose an HRMS responsibility, e.g. US Super HRMS Manager.
3. Navigate to 'People-> Enter and Maintain'.
4. Query the affected employee.
5. Click on 'Others-> Contact'.
