Symptoms

When running Party Merge, the process is failing with the following errors:
Error: Merge failed in procedure ZX_PARTY_MERGE_PKG.ZX_MERGE for entity ZX_PARTY_TAX_PROFILE

Error executing procedure ZX_PARTY_MERGE_PKG.ZX_MERGE for entity HZ_PARTIES
.... One or more of the Merges in the batch had errors.

Steps To Reproduce:

Responsibility: Oracle Customers OnLine
Party Merge tab

  1. Enter the two party numbers and submit the process.
  2. The error is shown in the logfile
