Stale Data Error When Changing Owner/Address (Doc ID 1146643.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1.1 version,

When attempting to change owner of an item instance the following error occurs.

Error: Stale Data



STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. (R) Oracle Installed Base Agent User
2. (N) Item Instance Search
3. Enter Serial Number -> Click Go ->
4. Click Change Owner button -> Enter Party -> Enter Address (current location)
5. Error appears - STALE DATA.

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot process customer service requests for the item.
