Symptoms
The "postCatalogAssignmentChange" event does not fire when the Import Catalog Items concurrent program processes data in the categories interface table (INV.MTL_ITEM_CATEGORIES_INTERFACE).
What is working
The event is firing if the changes are made from front end.
Steps: Overall
Setup business event.
Create item-catalog assignment via front end.
The event fires
Create item-catalog assignment via open interface.
The event does NOT fire.
Steps: Setup Business Event
- Workflow Administrator Web Applications responsibility > Business Events
Search for event: oracle.apps.ego.item.postCatalogAssignmentChange - Setup business event per Note 1074754.1.
3. Confirm the event works via the Workflow Administrator.
4. Check for inserted tested data in custom test tables:
** No events are inserted. This replicates the issue.
