Decsriptive FF information is not showing after an interface import (Doc ID 115451.1)

Last updated on APRIL 18, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Receivables - Version 11.5.10.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

You have setup the descriptive flexfield, Customer Information, in the Customer form. The flexfield is a context sensitive flexfield. You are able to enter
flexfield information through the form and it shows up in the form without any problems. However, when you run the Customer Interface process and populate the
attributes in the interface table that correspond to the attributes you have setup for the Customer Information descriptive flexfield. You are not able to see the data in the Customer Information flexfield from the form.

You run a select on the attributes and the information is in the tables in the attributes columns just like it was set up.

Why are you unable to see the information in the descriptive flexfield through the form when the data is in the tables and if you enter it manually it shows up?

This problem is not specific for just the Customer Information flexfield, but all descriptive flexfield information that is imported from Oracle interface tables such as Autoinvoice.
