How to ReSchedule or UnSchedule Lines in Ship Set

You have a business requirement to re-schedule lines in ship set. You have setup the priority rules of Sales Orders & MDS Entries Priority then Request Date. However, when you change the schedule date on 5 order lines for the same part number the results were that it did not take priority of the order into account. The order lines were rescheduled based on Request Date only. This will not work for our business requirement. You need the re-schedule of the order lines to take into account the priority of the order.
Can you unschedule a line in the ship set?
What setups or steps are required to re-schedule by Priority, Request Date and Age of the order?
