Performance Issue On Saving Receipt With OSP Item In R12.1.1. (Doc ID 1165114.1)

Symptoms


=== ODM Issue Clarification ===

On : 12.1.1 version, Receiving Functions

When attempting to save OSP PO receipts in ONLINE mode ( RCV: Processing Mode is Online ) the performance is slow and sometimes the transaction fails with the following error.

Issue is faced only for OSP receipts in online mode.

Issue is not faced for other PO receipts.


ERROR

APP-FND-00204: Concurrent Manager encountered an error while running the spawned concurrent program Receiving Transaction Manager - RCVOLTM for your concurrent request xxx. TM-TIMEOUT.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
India Local Purchasing -> receiving Transaction (Delivery)

1. Try to create a receipt for OSP item
2. Save the form after entering the info.
3. The system shows error with the time-out error.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
OSP Job processing is our one of the main processes and material after job processing goes to shop floor for production. Total production cycle will come to halt if the issue does not get resolve.

OSP Trxns volume is huge in our case and will impact production process if we dont resolve this issue.

OTHER INFO
----------
o Upgraded from 11.5.8 to 12.1.1. Issue is happening in the upgraded instance. In 11.5.8, the transaction takes ~10-15 seconds to save.
