Symptoms

After upgrading to 12.1 from 12.0.6, found some packages as invalid and unable to compile them. The compilation errors are as follows:

2. Errors for PACKAGE BODY AP_AUTOMATIC_PROPAGATION_PKG:

142/33 PLS-00302: component 'INITIALIZE' must be declared

239/4 PL/SQL: Statement ignored

3. Errors for PACKAGE BODY AP_FUNDS_CONTROL_PKG:

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot compile the invalids and unable to access Invoice workbench form. Due to this issue, can't use Payables application fully.
