Last updated on APRIL 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Receivables - Version 12.0.6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

In XLA_AE_LINES the Party_id is getting stored for each transaction when the party changes the party id is not refreshed in the transaction level.

In AR, receipts can be posted to XLA with one Customer and if its Unapplied, the Receipt Customer name can be changed at any time.

1. Now you create a Receipt with Customer A in Unapplied status and then posted the receipt.
2. Then you change the Customer name to Customer B and applied a transaction against it. Again posted the receipt.

The lines [data in xla_ae_lines] for Step 1 has the reference to Customer A and the lines [data in xla_ae_lines] for Step 2 has the reference to Customer B.

If a receipt is remitted, and is in an unapplied status, and then the customer's information is changed, then the XLA records should also be updated.
