Goal

This note describes the Financial Statement Geneator (FSG) performance enhancements of Bug 1382062 in greater detail - to assist with a better diagnose of the relevant issues and to determine whether the improvements offered by this patch will help a particular case or not. The patch is released under Bug 1383943, Patch 1383943 FSG PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENTS.

In some of the long running reports, FSG spends a large percentage of the total time inserting rows retrieved from the data base to the data structure in memory.
