Payroll Payment Register does not Reconcile with Journals in General Ledger (Doc ID 1181283.1)

Goal

There are discrepancies between the total amount on the Payroll "Payment Register Report" and the total journal amount in GL and on several GL reports, e.g., "Journals - Day Book", "Journals - Line", and "Journals - Extended", etc.

We can display employee level details on the Payment Register Report , but we don't have any way to drill down to details in GL to narrow down the discrepancies. We are not sure why GL shows less than expected from the Costing of Payments process.
