Symptoms
After upgrading JRE at the desktop to version 1.6.0_19 or higher some Forms show a dialog with the following message:
Java has discovered application components that could
indicate a security concern.
Name: oracle.forms.engine.Main
Block potentially unsafe components from being run? (recommended)
The application contains both signed and unsigned code.
Contact the application vendor to ensure that it has not been tampered with.
To continue to the form or functionality click the 'No' button. After selecting this option the form or functionality will behave normally and the message will not appear again for the remainder of that browser session.
