Applies to:
Oracle General Ledger - Version 12.0.1 to 12.1.3 [Release 12.0 to 12.1]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Form:GLXRJGEN.FMB - Generate Recurring Journals
Symptoms
When there is a Definition Access Set 'with' use only access to the recurring journal screen (GLXRJGEN) many columns are redundant and do not appear. This includes the effective date that you would expect to be the sysdate. If its not changed the default is the period end date and therefore you cannot change the effective date to give the correct accounting. In 11i the program would create the journal with an effective date of the current date provided the current date falls within the selected GL period.
Steps to reproduce:
- Setup the Definition Access Set with use only access to the recurring journal screen
- Navigate to Journal Recurring Generate
- The effective date column is not available. Like the period this date should be accessible.
