Unable To Reclass Leased Assets: APP-OFA-48395 (Doc ID 1190768.1)

Symptoms

Attempt to reclassify an asset from a leased category to a non-leased category.

Per <Note.1054053.1> the correct procedure is to first remove the Lease Number from the asset, save, and then it is possible to reclassify the asset from the leased category, to a non-leased category.

However, after deleting the Lease Number in the Asset Workbench - Asset Details window and saving, when the asset is re-queried, the lease number has not been deleted.

Hence it is not possible to reclassify the asset as the following error message cannot be overcome;

Note, the customer already has the Bug 8974754/ <Note 988176.1> codefix in place on 12.1 in FAVRCUTB.pls 120.15.12010000.3

Steps to Reproduce
-------------------------
1. Navigate to Asset Workbench - Asset Details form.
2. Query a leased asset with a lease number assigned.
3. Remove the lease number and save.
4. Requery the asset and find the lease number still populated.
