Symptoms
Issue is occurring consistently in Production and Test for one item only. Whilst doing WIP completion for this item, the following errors appear in the Backflush form and the WIP completion cannot be completed successfully :
Error 1 :
Transaction processor error.
Ex. in processLots.
oracle.apps.inv.transaction.utilities.InvTrxException
On clicking OK, another error appears :
Error 2 :
Lot and/or Serial Number quantity does not match transaction quantity.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

2. The customer is processing a WIP completion and the items are Serial Controlled.
3. A WIP Completion was done for a particular serial number. A fault was found. This was then returned using a WIP Assembly Return transaction.
4. Now a WIP Completion is being attempted on a New job using the serial number that was returned in step 3.
5. The following errors appear in the Backflush screen where the component in step 3 is being processed :

Ex. in processLots.
oracle.apps.inv.transaction.utilities.InvTrxException
On clicking OK, another error appears :
Error 2 :
Lot and/or Serial Number quantity does not match transaction quantity.
