Last updated on APRIL 10, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle Lease and Finance Management - Version 12.1.2 to 12.1.2 [Release 12.1] Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
On : 12.1.2 version, Lease Management
User defined Account Derivation Rule are setup using Source Stream Type Name /Stream Type Purpose for deriving an account code for an create invoice accounting in AR. But create accounting program in AR fails to derive appropriate account code.
Building SLA model where in stream types or purposes from OLFM drive accounting in SLA. For example if the Stream Type purpose is Rent then natural account ''xxx'' should be picked up. Similarly if the Stream Type purpose is Fee Payment, then natural Account "YYY" shall be picked up in SLA(Account Derivation Rules). Stream type name and Stream Type Purposes have been properly assigned to the "Invoice" Event class. But when ADR rules are based on the above mentioned sources from Lease Management, the Create Accounting program is unable to fetch any natural account. An error shows that none of the conditions are being satisfied and no account can be picked up.
STEPS to Reproduce
1. Setup ADR in AR using Stream type name or purpose and complete other setup of SLAM 2. Book a contract 3. Bill the contract 4. Transfer the billing transaction from OLM to AR 5. Run create accounting program in AR 6. Review accounting of the invoice
