Null Pointer Exception Received When Attempting to Add a Tracking Event While in Edit Mode of Shipment (Doc ID 1209077.1)

Symptoms


When attempting to Add a Tracking Event to a shipment while in edit mode, the following error occurs.

java.lang.NullPointerException


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log into OTM.
2. Go to Shipment Management --> Shipment Management --> Buy Shipments.
3. Search for any Shipment.
4. Select the shipment and click Edit.
5. Inside the edit screen, select  Actions --> Shipment Management --> Events -> Add Tracking Event.
6. Note the Error:
