Last updated on MARCH 10, 2019
Applies to:
Oracle Email Center - Version 12.0.6 to 12.0.6 [Release 12.0]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
After executing the Email Center 'Stop Email Processing' concurrent program, the 'email processing worker' spawned by the 'Start Email Processing' concurrent program terminates unexpectedly.
When 'Stop Email Processing' program is run, it sets VALUE = F in table IEM_COMP_RT_STATS where TYPE = MAILPROC. Then when 'Start Email Processing' is run, instead of the value being changed to T, it remains at F. This causes the 'email processing worker' program to terminate unexpectedly and not deliver mail
Steps to Reproduce
-------------------------
Email Center Administrator>Monitoring>Concurrent Programs> then run 'stop email processing' and then 'start email processing'
