Goal

When attempting to assign a Disable Date to a BOM Component, the following error occurs.

ERROR

One or more conditions are preventing this component from being available on this BOM. Please ensure that the component item is enabled in the current organization and the component item is not the same as the assembly item.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Open Bill of material form
2. Add today's date to a component 'effective to' date and save the form
