Transactions Failing in the Transactions Error Processing Form with Error: The Inventory Item (XXXX) Doesn't Exist In The Inventory Organization (XXX) Provided. (Doc ID 1230813.1)

Symptoms

Find various transactions failing in the Transactions Error Processing form with various source types such as Sales Order Issue (CSISOSHP), WIP Component Issue (CSIWIPCI) and WIP Component Return (CSIWIPCR). 
When resubmitting the errors after making sure the item stated in the error is assigned to the organization mentioned the error remains but points to a different Inventory Item.  The error is:

 

Error Code: CSI_API_INVALID_ITEM
Error Message: The Inventory Item (&INVENTORY_ITEM_ID) doesn't exist in the Inventory Organization (&INVENTORY_ORGANIZATION_ID) provided.
