Goal

The Workflow Service components (mailer and/or listeners) have a java error when starting. What is the source of this issue?

The java error shown in the FND log file can be most any error that is listed AND the service component(s) will not start.

For example:

java.lang.NullPointerException

or

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError
