'Descriptive Flex' In 'Copy Lines' Is Automatically Selected (Doc ID 1234454.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 21, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Order Management - Version 12.1.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

From Oracle Seeded Code, when copying the order from Action -> Copy in Sales Order form,
Copy Lines tab -> Includes Lines -> Descriptive Flex field is defaulted as checked.

You are attempting to implement custom code to default this checkbox as UNCHECKED for Descriptive Flex field.

This works fine initially, but when you navigate to the Pricing Options tab to apply "Re-price as of this date", then back to the "Copy Lines" tab, the Descriptive Flex field checkbox is Checked.

Custom code in CUSTOM.pll file is as below :
IF lv_form_name = 'OEXOEORD' AND lv_block_name = 'COPY' AND p_event_name = 'WHEN-NEW-RECORD-INSTANCE'
THEN
  COPY('F','COPY.HDR_DESC_FLEX');
  COPY('F','COPY.LINE_DESC_FLEX');
END IF;

Expected behavior is that seeded code should not override custom code.
