Goal

What is the purpose and meaning of the checkbox 'Net Closing Balance Flag' in the Accounting Setup Manager (ASM)?

1. To see this checkbox navigate to:
2. General ledger Superuser > Accounting setup manager
3. Enter the ledger setup or query an existing setup get to step 2
   See the Define Retained earnings account slot, next to that is the 'Net Closing Balance Flag' checkbox
