Symptoms

When attempting to return some items in iStore,
the following error occurs.

If this message persists, please contact the system administrator.

The HTML source of the error page shows the below error:

Message: ORA-20001: APP-FND-01728: An assignment does not exist for these parameters.

Cause: An attempt was made to find a sequence for this document flexfield. The profile option says Sequential Numbering is only partially used.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Click on 'Orders'
2. Click on 'Returns'
3. Click on 'Return Items'
4. Select the Search criteria as 'Order Number' in create return: search and select items
5. Select item to return from the search result
6. Click on 'Add to Return'
