Manager Self Service: Approvals are Stuck in the "Approvers Notification Process/Update Approver Action of Approved" Process (Doc ID 1242204.1)

Manager Self Service (MSS) transactions are submitted by a HR analyst on behalf of the manager. It goes to approval to HR approver group.  Once they hit approve the transaction completes and the data gets entered into Core HR.

Using the above scenario - there have been several transactions submitted and approved by the HR Approver Group and are now stuck in the workflow as the the analyst who has submitted the transactions is now terminated.

All the transactions are stuck "Approvers Notification Process/Update Approver Action of approved" activity.

How can we handle these transaction that are 'stuck'?
