The purpose of this document is to provide a demonstration showing how Bills of Material (BOMs)  can be created using APIs. The demonstration uses the BOM_BO_PUB.PROCESS_BOM API to create bill header and add components to the bill.
The attached viewlet will walk the user through creating the PL/SQL Procedure for creating Bills using API. There is also a document which has sample code for test purposes.

 1. Why do we see the error - "All records in a business object must belong to the same Bill. That is, they must all have the same Assembly Item Name, Organization and Alternate Designator. Please check your records for this." (BOM_MUST_BE_IN_SAME_BOM)
