Cannot View Comments when Asset is Retired

Symptoms
When retiring an asset with a comment, the comment cannot be retrieved when later viewing the Retirements form and querying that retirement. Steps to reproduce:
1] Retire an asset
Responsibility: Fixed Assets Manager, or similar, that has access to the Asset Workbench
Menu path: Assets -- Asset Workbench, query up asset to retire -- Choose Retirements button
2] Enter the Book, Comments, Cost Retired, Units Retired
3] Then commit using the [Done Button]
4) Make note of Transaction Code
5] Run Calculate Gains & Losses concurrent program (FARET)
6] Query up the Transaction number in Transaction History and the Transaction shows the comments entered by the user.
Responsibility: Fixed Assets Manager, or similar, that has access to the Asset Workbench
Menu path: Inquiry -- Transaction History
7] Navigate back to Asset Workbench and then to the retirements view. Query up the Reference ID and the asset retirement transaction shows up but there are comments in the comments field.
