How to Make Asset Workbench (FAXASSET) Require Entry of Asset Key Flexfield (Doc ID 124628.1)

Symptoms

 You are in Oracle Assets for Release 11. The Asset Key Flexfield (KFF) has been setup with the Required box checked, but the QuickAdditions and Detail Additions forms are not requiring you to complete the field when you enter a new asset. 1. Navigation: Assets -> Asset Workbench (FAXASSET)

2. Click on New or QuickAdditions button.

3. Add asset information and do not enter the Asset KFF.

4. Click Done to save the new asset.
