Symptoms

One journal category was set up for Autoreversal (GLPARV), reversal period is set to 'Next period'.
On attempting to enter a new journal for this category, the following error is thrown:

APP-SQLGL-08251 The default reversal period could not be generated.

Possible causes:
1. The period may not be defined, opened, or future enterable.
2. A database error occurred.

Periods opened and closed.
