Trade Management Claim Settlement Method Mass Settlement Modified Personlized Views Clears Prior Search Results (Doc ID 1254705.1)

Symptoms

We are experiencing 2 related problems in Mass Settlement when modifying Personalized Views:

1) Modifying Personalize view for Open Transactions, clears prior search results for Open Claims, including records selected for Mass Settlement.

2) Modifying Personalize view for Open Transactions gives the error "The search cannot be executed because the table has pending changes that would be lost," - - the error is received with the same problem

Steps to Reproduce

 

  1. Responsibility: Oracle Trade Management User
  2. Navigation: Trade Management > Claim, Mass Settlement Tab.
  3. Click on Create
  4. Search Customer Name with open Claims and open Transactions (i.e. Great Atlantic News)
  5. Click + expand search open claims; enter a specific Claim Reason (i.e. RETURN.GEN )
  6. Click + expand search open transactions; select specific Transaction Class from drop down (i.e. Credit Memo)
  7. Click Search
  8. Click Personalize in Open Claims
  9. Click Create View
  10. Name the view, update Columns Displayed, Sort by Remaining Amount Ascending, Add Filter for Reason, specify Reason to be the same as step #5 (i.e. RETURN.GEN)
  11. Click Apply and view results
  12. Select one of the Claims; Click recalculate for Open Claims.
  13. Click Personalize in Open Transactions
  14. Click Create View
  15. Name the view, update columns Displayed, Sort by Balance Descending, Add Filter for Transaction Class (no LOV for this field - - a separate SR will be opened for this)… condition is the same as value in step # 6 (i.e. Credit Memo)
  16. Click Apply and view results
  17. Problem #1: Open Claims rows are blank - - prior claim selected (in step 12, no longer selected)
  18. In Open Claims, click Go, and reselect the Claim already selected in step 12. Click Recalculate for Open Claims.
  19. Select 3 more claims, click Recalculate for Open Claims
  20. Select 1 open transaction, click Recalculate for Open Transactions
  21. Update amount settled for one of the Claims selected, Click recalculate for Open Claims
  22. Unselect one of the claims, Click recalculate for Open Claims
  23. Unselect the open transaction selected in step 20; Click recalculate for Open Transactions
  24. Click on Personalize Open Claims
  25. Click Update for view created in step 15/16.
  26. Click Rename Columns/Totaling
  27. Check Remaining Amount; click Apply
  28. Click Apply and view results.
  29. Problem # 2a: Receive error message: The search cannot be executed because the table has pending changes that would be lost.
  30. Problem # 2b: Open Claim rows are blank again (same as problem #1)
