(Doc ID 1264418.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 03, 2014

Applies to:

Oracle Application Install - Version 12.1.1 to 12.1.3 [Release 12.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

There are same errors when applying several R12.AP.B patches. The error message is:

package /erp/STA/apps/apps_st/appl/ap/12.0.0/patch/115/sql/apreconb.pls
Cannot parse file in package mode (DEFINE ...).

Unable to process file in PACKAGE mode.

sqlplus -s APPS/***** @/erp/STA/apps/apps_st/appl/ap/12.0.0/patch/115/sql/apreconb.pls
Adding package body for AP_RECONCILIATION_PKG
O/S Message: Invalid argument

The issue occurs on R12 shared application system and the application tier and database tier are on Linux-x64 OEL5 severs with OCFS2 file system.

When copying apreconb.pls to a non-OCFS2 disk, such as ext3 file system and running it, it is working fine without any error.
