Symptoms
Problem Statement:
When setting date formats starting with 'YYYY' or 'MM' to the profile option "ICX: Date format mask(ICX_DATE_FORMAT_MASK)", the incorrect date is set to "Date Paid" parameter of the concurrent request Payroll Run or the Payroll Run will error with:
APP-FND-00806: The default value 25-MAY-11 is invalid for the Date Paid segment.
Scenario 1: Starting with 'YYYY'
Set 'YYYY-MMM-DD' format to the profile "ICX: Date format mask".
Select concurrent program "Payroll Run (Salary)" and set parameter "Payroll".
Responsibility: HRMS MANAGER
(N)View -> Requests -> Submit a New Request
The "Pay Period" is set with the default value(05 2011 Calendar Month (2011/05/25))
and "Pay Day" is also set, but it is the incorrect date(2025/11/10).
And if you submit the request as default, concurrent finish normally but the payroll processed as '2025/11/10'. If the payroll is not defined till 2025, concurrent process finishes with the following error.
