Purpose

This document is intended as a stop-gap measure to ensure that XML Gateway is properly setup, configured, and patched for known issues prior to filing a service request.

Emphasis should be placed upon proper setup of XML Gateway first and then ensuring updated code prior to filing a Service Request with the Oracle Global Product Support team for XML Gateway.

Conventions used:
11i - refers to 11.5.10.2 E-Business Suite with ATG RUP 6 or ATG RUP 7 applied
EBS - refers to E-Business Suite (aka Oracle Applications E-Business Suite)

Scope

This document covers the XML Gateway product as delivered in EBS 11.5.10 and 11.5.10.2.

The intended audience includes users of Oracle's Applications E-Business Suite of products, version 11.5.10 through 11.5.10.2 (Releases 12.0 and 12.1 are not included.)

Additionally, in order to file any bugs with Oracle Development, you must be at the "baseline" level of patching for 11i. Please reference the following notes:
