Enh: Unable To Get Volumes With Mixed Statistical And Dollar Journals (Doc ID 1267778.1)

Last updated on JUNE 25, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Receivables - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

 In Receivables Module:

When the Manufacturing Profile Option 'WMS: Allow Mixed Statuses'  is enabled to enter a journal with mixed statistical
and dollar amounts, the application creates a journal with the account,
amount, a unit of measure, but no quantity.

 ### Steps to Reproduce ###
Set the profile option to Yes for mix statistical entries
Define the UOM to be associated with the account
Test JE...shows both in JE form
  Enter a AR Transaction
Enter distributions using same account as defined with a UOM association
  Create Accounting
  Transfer Journals to GL
Query in GL the Journal...shows UOM on stats, but no quantity

Users need to be able to capture volumetrics in transactions coming from AR
From research, this capability exists for the AP module, but not for AR module.

The accounting attribute 'Statistical Amount' should be assigned to the
appropriate source to populate this field by the Create Accounting program.
This accounting attribute is assigned to the particular source in the
Payables application and not in Receivables application and that's why this
field is not populated for the Receivables transaction.
